He is an Associate Professor of Information Systems in the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah where he teaches courses on Data Visualization and Data Warehousing. During his career in industry, he has held consulting, management and executive positions in Analytics, Software Engineering and Product Management. Mike has a Master of Science from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo.

Carmine is a Microsoft Certified Professional with 15+ years of Data & Analytics, Marketing and Operations experience. He has held consulting, management and executive roles in the Entertainment, Information Technology, and Staffing industries. Prior to his work in Data & Analytics he ran the operations of a mid-market casino and was instrumental in revolutionizing their approach to utilizing data driven marketing strategies. Carmine holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Pepperdine University, a Master of Science in Information Systems from David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah, and a Master of Science in Finance from David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah.
